Lisa Guthrie Music was founded by Lisa Guthrie. With over 20 years experience in the Music and TV industries, Lisa has a passion for pairing music to picture.

It all started with an ill-timed teachers strike at the tender age of 11. The majority of the three week strike seemed to be spent in the cinemas of Edinburgh where it dawned on Lisa that music to picture was a rather magnificent thing… thanks not least to the likes Dune and Brian & Roger Eno! This translated to entry into the renowned West Lothian Music Management course, and on to Virgin Records A&R department, Production Assistant to Michael Kamen (Brazil, Die Hard & Lethal Weapon series, Band of Brothers etc), and a very long stint of working with BBC Productions negotiating talent contracts, creating music related product, and most importantly helping many productions find fantastic music composers.
